Posted February 24, 2018 07:07:49By JEFFREY GILLIAM, AP Washington (AP) Boise’s design team has created “boots in the ground” for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, using some of the most familiar elements of his campaign material.
The campaign released a “campaign logo” and campaign theme on Tuesday, with a nod to Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan and the “Make the Road Great Again.”
The logo is a blue and white logo with a blue outline and two big “O”s that are meant to indicate the president is on the campaign trail.
The logo also features the word “bears” in gold and a bear’s head.
The bear logo also includes a quote from former President George W. Bush: “I was in the White House for 9 years and I don’t remember a day like this.”
The campaign’s campaign website features a link to a video on which Trump tells voters about his “Make Great America Again” plan, saying the goal is to “get this country back to its glory days of prosperity, opportunity and pride.”
A “bikes and boats” theme is also included in the campaign’s “Campaign Theme” and the campaign website includes an image of Trump riding a bike.
The site also features a photo of Trump and former president Bill Clinton riding bicycles together in Washington, D.C.
The “bounce boards” design is a reference to Trump saying he wanted to see “bikers on the roads,” and the logo includes the words “Make AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
In an email to supporters, Trump said he wanted his campaign to “take a positive approach to building a great campaign infrastructure.”
He said he would not be looking for “a massive advertising campaign” on the website, and that his team would “work closely with the campaign to develop a great website for all of you.”
Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Associated Press.
