Alpharetta, Ala. opens new grocery store with the promise of local products

Alpharettas new grocery center will have a full menu of local produce, meats and even baked goods.

The company is planning to offer a full grocery store experience, which will be based on the neighborhood, as well as the local restaurants and farmers markets that Alpharetti will partner with.

The store will be located at the corner of West Main Street and South Broadway in Alpharetts newest shopping center, The Boneyard, which is located just a few blocks away.

“We have been looking for a community hub to serve our neighbors and provide our local customers with the best local food in Alpharias history,” said John Hargrave, the company’s president and CEO.

“Alpharettans food culture and history of farming has been a cornerstone of the brand.”

Alpharietti is partnering with the nearby local farmer’s market to make up for some of the loss in business from the closure of the grocery store.

“There will be some items that will not be available, but we will be offering everything we offer and we will also be offering a whole new food truck experience,” Hargraves said.

At the store, customers will be able to sample items like a bag of apples, strawberries and strawberries, apples, and a variety of local cheeses.

In addition to the food truck, the grocery center is planning on offering some other seasonal items, like seasonal fruits, meats, cheeses, soups and salads.

While the new grocery facility will be a new location for Alphareta, it will be home to several businesses that will serve as local anchor stores.

Albany Farmers Market is set to open in November of 2019.

With the addition of this new grocery and a grocery truck, Hargrey said the neighborhood has “been really hard hit” and he hopes to create a new space to support local businesses and residents.
